Mel is such a gem and a brilliant photographer! We hired her for our wedding, and she has such a talent for capturing all the special moments of the day. She's also so helpful at coaching her subjects on posing or generating some movement or activity that creates terrific photos. She's great at applying some trendier or modern styles (we LOVED the flash photography while everyone was dancing!) while still keeping enough traditional photos that are classics for a reason. Mel is a whole vibe. She did both our engagement shoot in Moab and our wedding in Colorado. There are so many wedding photographers out there and she still manages to stand out with her unique photographer's eye and editing style. We hired Mel to do our photos for our Sept 2021 wedding and it was hands down the best choice we made in planning.
