Nothing to me beats shooting with film.

I keep a digital for backup, but on a full day I am shooting only film. Film allows me to slow down, be present, and experiment. I have time to take in my surroundings, get to know the characters that make your day special, and observe people. Having only 36 or 12 frames per roll means I need to pause before I press the shutter. Will this photo make you FEEL something? Does it help with the storytelling of the day? I take less frames than a digital photographer, but almost every single one will make it into your album.

full wedding days

A full day means I'm there until you kick me out! This can be anywhere form 8 to 12 hours, whether we end up at a dive bar or bowling alley for the after party! I like to approach weddings as an extremely invested observer who is always on the lookout for those tiny moments you might miss while busy being present.
