“The vision for our engagement photoshoot was a whimsical sapphic fairies theme with a sort of found footage vibe, and Mel captured our vision so, so perfectly.

- Her bright energy made our experience SO joyful and magical! We are camera shy people and she A) made sure to hype us up and feel confident in ourselves; B) accommodated our request for pictures NOT showing our faces; and C) took super flattering photos that DID show our faces.

- Since we're from out of state, we didn't know where to have the photoshoot. She found the most amazing location.

- We love that she uses a wide variety of film, including expired film which gave some of our photos a timeless and mysterious air.

- Communicating with her in the month/weeks leading up to the photoshoot was seamless. She regularly checked in about all the planning details, and was prompt and thorough in her responses to my questions.

- She scanned the instant photos in the back of her car, so that we could take the originals with us on our flight home!!!
